I've used Skitch for about five years now, used it across hundreds of scenarios, and, every time, it's fulfilled what function s I expected of it, even going, in numerous cases, well beyond my expectations. Primarily, Skitch has aided me in elucidating, in adding clarity and precision to my attempted communication with colleagues, as well as with a varied assortment of correspondents otherwise, doing so chiefly via its offered range of user-tailorable text, arrows, and so on.

Skitch has proven itself enormously useful in every one of those instances, and I am more than glad to have it in my stable of indispensable image editing apps and applications. Way to go, devs! The app has crashed on me after about a few minutes and fortunately not much was done. This was one of the great apps I'd rather pay more up front Yes, it's still great when it works. Trouble is, it now crashes or freezes about half the time. I don't know, maybe it's something local to my system. But I doubt it. The updates just haven't come and maybe they never will. So I've bitten the bullet and shelled out top dollar for Snagit instead.
