DJI-Paladin has also replied twice on my original thread saying the same thing. Looks like everyone just needs to open a ticket, start the RMA process, and just send in the Range Extender. I gave the Vision to my son for Christmas so he could learn to fly and take pictures. When we started up the phantom Vision we had the same "no video feed" issues, and everything else was ok, but no video feed. DJI has intentionally crippled the older quadcopters to force us to buy new models.
This is outrageous! Update: What a horrible company. They needed my proof of purchase twice to verify that I'm the original buyer and to see if it's still under warranty. They apparently are so incompetent that my original submission of the proof of purchase wasn't tied to the creation of my Case number.
Im on ios 8. For anyone wanting to go back to the old app.. Thanks for the old app version. I manage to get it on Itunes but it will not install to my phone. Giving me error message it is not authorized for it on my computer… strange. I wonder if the file have the orginal downloader computer ID in the file. Anybony knows a way around it? I try and install the app on my ipad 2 which have no cell or GPS. I think the problem and the differentiation between some people have the issue and some not, is your phone privacy settings. I wonder if I have some privacy setting set ON, that the app don't like with this new fix implementation and create some conflict.
