Can i download a mod that requires dlc?

Sure, the issues aren't precisely the same when you're dealing with singleplayer games only, but the meat at the heart of the matter is this: Did you pay for what you want to play with? You won't find that the developers and publishers have a sympathetic ear when—for instance—they learn you're using a mod enabling you to use a weapon from DLC that you have not actually purchased.

How would they learn of something like this? By reading your posts is how , and they do. Not so much the publishers, but the developers. They need to know what's going on with the people playing their games, so they read forums like this, and many of them are even moderators.

Besides, a game this old? If that is a concern, can you afford a computer that runs these applications? The ones that require DLC would say so. I only hope and pray not many will. Buying this would almost feel like I might as well just open my wallet and burn it. I hate DLC sooooooooo much. Settlement building and stuff are glitchy as mods like "conquest" and "scrap everything" haven't been updated yet.

Body mods won't effect the new clothing and I didn't see any NW raiders get new weapon mods that others would get. So, it still all works but lots of stuff won't apply to NW until, and if, those mods are updated. If anything i'd just try to hold off on it until the winter sales come or something to get some heavy discount if you do need to pick it up later down the line. There are loads of mods out there and you could be lucky and not find any mods to you're taste using this DLC for a while.

Even then, i've seen many mods have optional dlc versions, most don't really seem to require a DLC outright but have optional support for them.
